Tommaso Sacchi

Tommaso Sacchi is the Councillor for Culture of the City of Milan. With over fifteen years of experience in cultural policy, artistic production, and curating, he holds several prominent positions. He is a member of the board of directors of Federculture and serves as a representative on the Superior Council for Cinema and Audiovisual of the Ministry of Culture. Previously, he served as Councillor for Culture, International Relations, Fashion, and Design for the City of Florence (2019–2021). During his mandate in Florence, he was also President of the Fondazione Teatro della Toscana (2019-2024) and President of the Stibbert Museum. Before he was appointed Councillor in Florence, he served as Chief of the Secretariat of the Culture Department for the City of Florence (2014-2019) and was the Artistic Director of the Estate Fiorentina festival for five consecutive editions. Early in his career, he worked in the Cabinet of the Culture Councillor for the City of Milan (2011-2013) and was Head of Communication (CCO) for Stefano Boeri Architetti, where he directed the inaugural communication for the Bosco Verticale.
