Ph.D. in Computer Science, Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence, University of Milan, Milano, Italy. Member of Italian Society of Engineering (ICTand AI commissions, Milan), of SIREN (Italian Neural Networks Society), of HiPEAC (High Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation - European network of world-class computing systems researchers, industry representatives and students), and Vice-President of GWMH (Global Wo.Men Hub). Raffaella Folgieri’s career in computer science is reflected in her authorship of numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and contributions to several books and international scientific conferences. Her research in the Artificial Intelligence field primarily focuses on cognitive processes in decision making, learning, creativity, and health-related applications, with a particular interest in Brain-Computer Interaction, Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, Explanatory AI, Learning and e-Learning, Virtual Reality, Project Management methodologies, and Quality assessment in complex software development.
