Luca Re was born on July 6, 2000, in the province of Varese. From a very young age he wrote, sang, and played guitar, but adolescence eventually pulled him away from music. For several years he searched for his place in the world—starting academic paths, changing different jobs—yet he could fill the emptiness he felt only with what had always shaped his way of expressing himself since childhood: music.
This renewed encounter with art transformed Luca’s life and redefined his relationship with himself and the people around him. His musical project began taking shape between 2019 and 2020. From the start, his goal was to communicate and inspire by sharing his experiences: not staying on the surface, searching for one’s place, finding oneself, improving, leaving something to others, and enriching the world we live in.
Over the years, Luca evolved and released music consistently—starting from his early projects with Chryverde, with whom he produced the “LUCE” EP, then moving through a collaboration with Seife, and eventually reaching a deeper musical exploration with DEMONA. With them, in 2023, he developed a passion for electronic music and created his biggest project: “UMORE,” three EPs in one year, each portraying human moods and emotions Luca personally experienced.
During this period, together with Federico Caon—his current manager, partner, and friend—he founded the collective OutSoon, which allowed Luca to gain further experience as a songwriter and artistic director for various projects. After releasing “UMORE,” he continued working with DEMONA, and in 2024 he released four singles, all sharing a clear visual and communicative identity, as well as a musical one.
In 2025 he released two EPs, SP57 and SP1, two projects carrying a single underlying message: the search for one’s place in the world. Meanwhile, he’s focused on the future—writing many new songs and experimenting further to tailor a sound increasingly custom-made for him. Luca’s current main artistic influences are Kevin Abstract, Dominic Fike, and Mac Miller. His genre is Alternative R&B, which preserves and highlights his nature as a lyricist.
