Stefania Vos is a DJ, radio host and community agitator based in Turin, Italy.
She’s a core member of Turin-born international community radio RBL.MEDIA, where she operates as radio
producer and station manager, besides hosting her own radio shows. She’s also one of the founders of
Imbarchino del Valentino, a cultural center in Turin very active in showcasing independent electronic,
experimental and underground music in Northern Italy. From 2020 till 2024 she’s also been part of Non
Frequenze Festival’s curatorial board.
With her keen ear for sharp, shimmering sounds, a visceral attraction for subby, sexy basslines and a
deep love for syncopated riddims she finds in percussion the main driving force of her sets, often spiced up
with a bit of self-irony and playfulness. The result is deep and high-octane dj sets that weave all of her
influences together, with little fear for drastic ideas and unexpected changes.
She’s taken part in several Italian festivals such as C2C, Nextones, Jazz:Re:Found, Jazz Is Dead,
Piedicavallo Festival, SYS Palermo, Borgofuturo, MUNDI and many club nights across the country.
In contrast with her club persona, Stefania carries on a personal research on ambient, leftfield and
experimental music, channeled in her radio shows on RBL and in two series of live listening session formats
curated on behalf of RBL at Imbarchino del Valentino — Secret Garden and RBL Live Listening Sessions.
